 Workshop Cancellations & Late Arrivals/No Shows

A refund will be issued for class cancellations only if your spot can be filled by another student, minus a 10% administrative fee. We kindly ask for your understanding and consideration in this matter.

Cancellations less than 24 hours before the workshop, are non-refundable.

If you are 30+ mins late for a workshop, without calling or texting us in advance, unfortunately we will consider this a no-show and automatically cancel the one-to-one class without a refund.  This sounds harsh, but much preparation goes into setting up workshops, and we do require a courtesy call well in advance, if you are running late or unable to get to our studio within 30 mins of the start time.  Thanks for your understanding and consideration on this one.

Please note that we reserve the right to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances.  While we strive to avoid cancellations, sometimes it is unavoidable. In such cases, a full refund will be provided and alternative dates can be arranged.

Unfortunately, we cannot be held financially responsible for extreme weather conditions or any other situations beyond our control that may prevent the class from proceeding.

Minimum & Maximum Workshop Numbers

Each workshop is arranged by appointment, and generally one-on-one, as we feel it works better when learning a new skill.

If you have a group of friends wanting a private group workshop, do contact me to set up a date that suits you all.

One on One Workshops

Our personal workshops are available at weekends or evenings, from my home studio in Wimborne.  If you would like a one-on-one spinning, fibre prep or knitting workshop not listed on our website, please do contact me.

Workshop Materials

For spinning workshops, we provide a suitable fibre for you to learn or develop your skills.  This is included in the price.

Drop spindle & Turkish spindle workshops, include the cost of the spindle and a selection of fibre for you to keep, so that you can continue your spinning journey at home.

Knitting workshops generally include the yarn, however, please do check the details, as many knitting workshops (other than complete beginners) require that you bring along your own needles.
