Learn the basics of spinning on a spinning wheel, from drafting to plying and setting your final yarn.
I'll take you through all the steps you need, as well as teaching you about how fibres behave when you are spinning, getting the right results, and troubleshooting along the way.
Workshop includes plenty of easy to spin fibre, the use of our beautiful Schacht Ladybug and Majacraft Rose wheels. Class time is6 hours, from my studio in Wimborne, Dorset.
This private course is limited to just two students to ensure a focused, intimate learning experience. Workshops run from 10am to 4pm, and the cost is £300 for two people. All materials are included, along with drinks and lunch to keep you energised throughout the day.
